I have an ipad 1 Stuck on head phone mode. No voice when headphone plugs in. Volume up and down button when pressed shows the speaker and on top it gives the message headphone mode.
Any fix for it. I tried to restore it via itues and it fails. I fix the host file, same issue. Any one knows what is the issue? Head phone jack is broken?? or software issue?
Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Are you hearing sound when you have the headphones plugged in?

Do you remember what you were playing when using the headphones last? And did you turn it off first before pulling out the headphone?

I'm not sure if it's any of these things but as it's still in headphone mode have a look to see if anything could be caught up in the jack area itself..... If there is, see if it can be dislodged with a quick vacuum.

Let us know how you go.
