iPad 2 Jailbreak soon available, hackers say

As time passes by, more and more updates from hackers suggest that they are drawing nearer to completing the jailbreak solution. The upcoming iPad 2 jailbreak tool will use the userland exploit, veeence informed relying on his sources. The solution that will let users jailbreak Apple’s second generation tablet running iOS 4.3.2 / 4.3.1 / 4.3 could be somehow similar to JailbreakME, Tehnorati reports.

Unfortunately, no release date for iPad 2’s jailbreak solution is currently available but P0sixninja, the hacker who developed the Greenpois0n jailbreak tool, promised the Chronic Dev Team would release the tool in the three weeks’ time. It may take them more than three weeks since these guys are not very good at respecting deadlines.

What is certain, however, is that the Chronic Dev Team and Dev Team are both working to develop an iPad 2 jailbreak solution.

A successful iPad 2 jailbreak solution would be an important step forward towards jailbreaking all the products Apple is planning to release on the market this year, namely the iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5G, a new Apple TV version etc. As a matter of fact, hackers have already managed to jailbreak the developer beta version of iOS 5.

The iPad 2 is currently the only jailbreak proof iOS device, but in two weeks’ time this should be history, provided that hackers do keep their promise.
