Another iPad case has hit the stores, the Belkin Keyboard Folio designed for the iPad 2 includes one of the best Bluetooth keyboards out there and it markets for 99.99$. The case is pretty bulky and you need to learn how to open and close it, but after a few uses you get the hang of it and you realize how useful it is. There’s a six-step instruction sheet for how to open and close the case, as it has four separate flaps – one for the keyboard, one for the iPad and two made of fabric designed to keep the keyboard and iPad screen from scraping against each other.
The Bluetooth Keyboard weights 1.21 pounds and it charges through a micro USB port with a battery life of over 60 hours of active use and 2.000 hours of standby time. Apart from various iPad 2 Function keys there are playback controls, Search and Home and Cut, Copy, Paste and Select, which are useful for those who need to do a lot of editing. You only need to connect your iPad and the keyboard once, as it automatically connects after the initial pairing. The case is made of gray rubber and has plenty of room for any iPad 2 ports and controls and, when closed, is 1.25 inches thick, which puts it in the “bulky†range.
When you want to use the Belkin Keyboard you unfurl it, snap the keyboard out of its place and prop up the screen at the angle you want it, as there are four sets of groves on the bottom of the fabric, that keep it in place. The case is marketed for 99.99$.
