iPad 2 Users In The UK

I've got in the habit of deleting them every day which is about 39+ so edit and delete is quick. 2000 though that is a lot!

So that means that - on average - you have 39 posts a day!! If you're not careful - very careful - you could move to the 'Dark Side' and become a ---- (sit down) ----- a moderator. It's where you go after a mis-spent life... where did I go wrong??

you didn't go wrong, you went very very right because you get to help us poor illiterate people who need your specialist care

Is that calculation not a bit optimistic? I thought it sends an email for every reply someone else posts in the topic. Theoretically 1 post a day could lead to 39 emails, if the topic if visited frequently. But I may be wrong and it only sends an email for the first post submitted after one's own post.

A post is still a post :))

I am tempted to disagree. There is an x3 potion available from the executive suite, while under it's influence does it triple counts posts and is only available for moderators. ;)

It's clear I need a Drambuie - but it's far too early. I don't think Marie had even heard of them before iPad Forums was invaded by the UK contingent.

Can't stand the stuff, unless you put a Brandy in it, now that should be a x10 potion :)

But if we are talking about car chases.....surely the Italian Job has to be the one, the only, classic car chase.....and I'm talking about the original!

The Archangel

I love the original Italian job, got it on Dvd. Micheal caine is one of my fav actor, i got a few dvd,s of him, including "funeral in berlin" eagle has landed, ipress file, billion dollar brain , fourth protocol, and a few more.

Another car chase movie i like is the French Connection from the 1970's, gene hackman driving in bronx trying to chase the killer is epic. Do you guys and gals know the french connection chase, the stuntman for the drive scenes was Bill Hickman, same person who was driving the charger in Bullit

Also got blue ray collection of dirty harry movies, love Clint Eastwood

Ahhhh.....Harry Palmer, one of my favourite series of films. I have the box set of French Connection (1 & 2), Hackman is superb.

I loved Dirty Harry but to me The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Fistful Of Dollars, et al are just on another level.

Havent watched these two movies by clint, but now you have recommended them, i will either rent or buy the dvd's soon. Thanks

Regarding French Connection, i live the part1 the most, part 2 is also good but for some reason not as thrilling as part 1

They are spaghetti westerns, I hate westerns but these are something else......the other one in the trilogy is For A Few Dollars More.....not much speaking in any of them but once you see them you realise that it wasn't really required, so well filmed and acted (Clint, Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach) and the soundtrack is just, well, iconic.........damn, now I'm going to have to watch them all over again!!!

Ah right, i dont like westerns, and i have seen dvd cover of clint movies that were western and so avoided them, but now will give it a 2nd chance. I mean as much as i dont like western, given its clint, that alone is worth given a try
