iPad 2 Users In The UK

Well Dr. Who this week was a little dull, it felt like the doctor was never in control and given his age and previous incarnations you would think he would know basic CPR. The episode did not really advance the story arc, also given that Rory is really a robot would he drown or rust ? Disappointing I thought.

He is human again silly! Remember the last series, when the Tardis and Dr went back in time and everything went back to normal. You know I was thinking the same thing about dr and CPR! They did mention pregnancy twice though!

Did not the doctor in episode 1 of this season say "ah, Rory the robot", at least it was the doctor who died. I think you are referring to an episode called The Pandorica Opens, I will have to watch it again. This is why I hate anticipation and prefer crash sessions with complex arc series.

I think the Dr was using that statement as a pet name rather than being literal. I could be wrong of course.

Any welshmen on here? Are you Dr Who fans?

Yep, born and still live in Cardiff. I don't mind Dr Who, have recorded last nights so no spoilers please :) But I don't think that the new doc and assistant are anywhere near as good as David Tennent and Bill Piper were. Stories are not as good either. It's nice to see places from your hometown though!

Yes, that's just what I was thinking, I've only been on one day trips with the school there but your city looked great from what i saw of it! I also love Torchwood, it's being done by BBC America and another company, can't remember their name but I hope they don't americanise it too much, part of UK tv is it's Brit quirkiness, so will be watching closely!

I must admit I have warmed to them, yes, no-one can replace David but the boy is quirky enough that he reminds of the old doctors like Tom Baker who was, you guessed it, my doctor. I thought that a lot of the stories where written by Steven Moffat in the DT Series and he is still the main story writer, so you think he's churning them out with less drama! I'm totally lost with this new series as to what is happening but that's good, I thought. Time travel is confusing!

It's a radio show on digital radio 4 , and it's not bad. I can't remember what time it's on though. I'm not sure when stuffs on the telly, I'm terrible not that much on that interests me really. Tv is connected to home network and to a DTS surround sound system, so mostly I use it for playing music watching videos and previewing stuff!

An ordinary digital radio should give you extra as well. Perhaps a section for iPad music and recording would be an idea.....Starts getting a bit technical otherwise.....It was just I knew sje was trying it out so I got my question in :)

Why don't you start it then? Musicians won't find you in the HDMI thread you started, at least that's why I've got movies, food and iPad 2 is Cool has our very own UK thread that we are on now! I could update my teacher colleague on all things guitar and more!

A thread for all things music to do with the iPad? Sounds more like a whole section to me :) where is our illustrious moderator? :) I wonder just how many pro Musicians there are here to make it worth creating?

How about we have an after-lunch snack and thus extend the period of silence a little longer ;)

Always a laugh! Didn't take you that long though did it. This is part of my big spiders web and you are now stuck to it! What have you been up to today (apart from padding). I'm using sun and wind to dry clothes, boring really! What are your music tastes?
