Dogs get many viral illnesses. Mine had Kennel cough last year, this is analogous to the human illness croup. Similar viral pathogen. Your dog has a doggy virus probably.... At least I hope so. Dogs can also get hay fever, diabetes, epilepsy etc.... They are mammals much like us and suffer many of the same conditions.

Yes, she certainly knows how to wind us all up. I'm a bit concerned about my Pomeranian at the moment, he seems to have some sort of cold where he sneezes violently for a minute or so. I may have to phone the vet tomorrow.

My vet choked my dog in order to demonstrate to me that the poor mite had difficulty breathing, I was tempted to choke him to show that humans reacted in much the same way.

Will do. Hope Pomeranian gets well soon. I seek help sooner for the dogs despite cost etc...quicker than for any other member of the family, no lie!
