Lectures were received very well. Of the 40 strong audience, 40 scored me excellent for final lecture as did 38 for the first. 2 gave me very good, miserable ungrateful sod I say.

Too true! Free lunch is great but the lecture you get after the free lunch is so hard to listen to because your brain is saying it's siesta time. I almost fell asleep in the exam yesterday afternoon. My student only needed me to read 2 questions but it was an hour and a half exam so I had to sit in this god awful hard plastic chair and try to get through the next hour without fallling asleep.

Is that not what iPads were designed for. If you had to read out the question to the candidate, then I am not sure if you were to play on your iPad during the exam if it would have affected the mark obtained that adversely. Try using this arguments in the next governors meeting !!!!

Nope, afraid not. They've tightened the rules now. We can't talk to the students, play tictactoe, etc... No contact allowed apart from the reading or scribing for them.

You can say that again. I'm surrounded by them in school. Facebook is not encouraged for obvious reasons(students want to contact you, no!). IPF is my first foray into this world. I blame my paddy. Too easy to use.

You could try an android tablet, much harder to use and so less addictive.....well, probably!!!! Steve Jobs could use that in an advertising slogan, send it to him for me!!!!

There a quite a lot of users online at any given time on iPF, they don't post much do they ? I really do look through a lot of threads but find no action. Are they just voyeurs ? Do they spend all day sending each other PM's ? Who knows ?
