iPad 3 GSM A1430 Reboots on Language screen and can't activate

Have tried everything I can think of, downloaded the correct 8.1.2 ipsw and installed via dfu.

The ipad will restore but will not activate either via wifi or itunes and reboots as I said in the title.

In the iTunes window the ipad is briefly recognised but very quickly the serial number comes up as n/a and there are no details viewable about the device.

Am going crazy here, is there anyone with any suggestions that might help me ?

None of that looks like a solution the ipad does restore so no driver issues. The problem is that after the restore it wont activate. Any other thoughts ?

Try resetting it: press and hold Home and Power button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of both, your device should power up on it's own.

That wont do it either, nor will reinstalling via dfu as per my original post. any other ideas ?

It will also help solving problems with not jailbroken devices. iOS 8.1.2 is still signed at the moment, so it's possible to update to this software version using this method. I hope it will activate properly afterwards.

Have tried to restore with downloaded 8.1.2 and 8.1.3 ipsw s using all methods in that article with no activation success it in recovery and dfu ARGH !!
