The usually extremely credible and accurate Jim Dalrymple at The Loop moved swiftly yesterday to debunk the Digitimes story that was widely circulated that said that Apple planned to launch two new iPad models at Macworld in January. Dalrymple says that according to his sources (which are usually very reliable), there are no plans to release any iPads at Macworld. He goes even further by saying that we shouldn’t expect to be seeing one at CES either. And what’s more, don’t be expecting to see an Apple TV launch at Macworld or CES, for that matter! Dalrymple concludes by saying that Apple launching anything at either of these two events would actually have been very unlikely, as it withdrew from Macworld in 2009, and has not been back to there, or indeed to any other tradeshow since, preferring to hold its own special events. Apple has, of course, declined to comment on the matter,
