I have two wifi networks at home, too, and both my iPad 1 and 2 have no prob remembering their passwords. The same goes for trusted wifi networks that I've used previously. It doesn't matter if months have gone by without my having used a network; the iPads still remember the passwords.
The only diff would be at a place like my work, where they create a new wifi password daily.
