Ipad 3 stuck in recovery mode. Help please !!

Hi,

I was on 5.1.1 and I downloaded the 6.1 firmware for my ipad. When I tried to update it failed for some reason and put my ipad into recovery mode. Now when I try to restore my ipad to the 6.1 file i downloaded I get error message 3194 (which is apparently the requested build isnt compatible with my ipad" But i think i downloaded the right one.

My ipad is model A1416 (Ipad 3 wifi). I've got build iPad3,1_6.1_10B141_Restore

Any ideas?

Not possible to restore selectively on the iPad 2+ and the iPhone 4S+ for lack of a bootrom exploit like LimeRa1n on the A4 and below.

The only iOS you can put on that iPad3 is iOS 7.0.4. The window has long closed for putting iOS 6.x on an iPad.

I somehow managed to get out of restore mode and I'm back to 5.1.1, I'm guessing the only choice I have is to upgrade to latest firmware and lose the jailbreak or stay where I am?
