I have been living in a hotel for the last 3 months because of a house fire. I left my hotel room last Friday morning and didn't return until Sunday evening. I usually take my iPad with me, but didn't this time because I knew we would be working on moving back in the house. When I returned Sunday the iPad was dead and had the "connect to iTunes" message. I tried recovering it from iTunes with no luck. My question is, what could have happened to it to make it do this? I did leave it plugged it but that was the only thing. Could it have been tampered with by the housekeeping staff??
