And they seem to show a striking similarity in design.
Why do we have to trust this guy from Aus​​tralia? Well, he was the one that has provided genuine pictures of both the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c, and not a single time. The news pictures shows us a similar design between the upcoming iPad and iPad mini. A reason for that might be the fact that Apple could reduce the size of the bezels to decrease its overall footprint. Also, Tim Cook and his crew could also be working on a thinner film-based display to be able to make the next-gen tablets thinner and lighter.
Some rumors were suggesting that Apple could unveil the next iPads on the same launch event as the iPhones. But that was not the case. And Apple is also not going to release the new iPads in the near time, since it might just interrupt the media attention that the iPhones are getting right now.
My personal bet is that Apple is going to launch the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 not later than November.
