Ipad air 2 problem

Hi there i have recently installed a new battery for my ipad air 2

It was all working fine, and was charging up at a good rate, took about 3hours to fully charge, I calibrated the battery and tested it

I got over 10 hours leaving it running on a youtube video lasting 12 hours

Now i have a problem it only charges 3% every hour, it takes 2 days to fully charge, it also discharges 3% every day

The new battery still perferms well it still lasts over 10 hours, but discharges 3% when on sleep mode

I think it could the tristar ic that is failing after some research on youtube

I was using an after market charger to charge the device,

I have some tools at hand like a multimeter

Could i get some help in finding the problem with a multimeter

First thing I would do is try it with a proper charger.

Hi i tried a different charger, the one i was using was not a genuine apple lighting cable

I got a genuine one and it charges at around 20% per hour now, so problem solved hopefully
