iPad And GPS When Traveling

I'm in over my head, I am a disabled vet looking for help finding a right app I will be traveling on local rt 80 from savannah to New Mexico and I cannot find a app that will help they are all for highway travel and not for back roads or rods before interstate travel. Any suggestions? Any help would be welcomed and grateful thank you. F4drvr

No guarantees, but I believe MotionX GPS Drive might be what you are looking for. I use another product from the same company, which is more for off road use, so I'll vouch for their products. I haven't used this particular one, though.

First, for GPS to work, you need a WiFi plus cellular iPad. You do not have to have a cellular data plan, though. They have a GPS chip. WiFi only iPads do not. Any GPS app will be able to navigate anywhere a signal can be received.
I've got NAVIGON and MotionX GPS HD. Both are good and one of our members, a long haul trucker in northern Canada, uses MotionX GPS HD, himself.
