Ipad and USBTV?

Hi ive just brought a new TV KDL - 32EX703 and it has a USB port. I connected the ipad to the TV and it does find the Ipad as when i press home on the remote and go to Video it comes up at the bottom and says Apple Ipad. I go down and and click into it but it says no videos found. But i do have videos on my ipad. Sliders pilot episode and the new startrek film. So is there any way to get the films onto the TV?.
