iPad calendar pre-installed

I got the iPad3 a few weeks ago when I was in California and just got round to the calendar. Being new to the cloud, I now see that the intention is that normally only people using the 'work' calendar would want to associate with the c
loud and the 'home' calendar users would prefer not to. I started using the 'work' calendar by mistake. So, I'm really quite surprised that there seems to be no way of deleting entries I made in the wrong calendar in error. I just end up with 'new event'. How do I get rid of this?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Press on the entry and you should get a tag pop up with an edit tab, press edit and it will bring up the event, then press delete event. Hope this helps.
