iPad data runout date

Where do you look on your iPad to find out what date your data usage will run out? I had purchased a plan which would last for six months, however I have forgotten when I did that....cheers

Can you look on the iPad? I thought you had to download the app of the specific company whose data you're using.

I have looked on the iPad without success....not sure if you have to download the specific company app....if in fact there is one!!!

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I don't think the iPad keeps track of something like that but some carriers do have an app. You can have a look in Settings - General - Usage - Cellular Usage. It will have a date here from when you reset it last and you can see your usage also. I always reset this when I top up my sim so I can keep track of it.

Maybe you can safari the company and look up the web page that shows your cellular data. Then save that on your home page as an app. I used to do this to check my phone credit before the company got an actual app. It's easy enough but the only downside is you need 3G to check it outside wi fi. So if you only have a wifi iPad I think you might just have to call your data company and ask them.
