AppleInsider reports that Apple products have pretty much swept the board in the 2015 Customer Loyalty Engagement Index (CLEI) from Brand Keys, a brand research consultancy company.
The CLEI rates how much a brand is able to meet, or surpass, consumer expectations in a variety of different categories. Each category has its own set of “behavioural drivers,” which in the case of smartphones are: Brand Reputation and Design, A Platform For All My Needs, Features and Personal Connectivity, and Brand Value and Customer Support.
In the Telecommunications category Apple came out on top ahead of the likes of Samsung, Lenovo, LG, and Sony. In Headphones, Apple’s Beats was on top, ahead of Bose, Sony, JVC and Parrot. Even the Apple earbuds managed to reach the top 10. In the Smartphone and Tablets categories, the iPhone and iPad respectively were awarded the honors.
"In a marketplace where brands struggle to create meaningful differentiation and engagement, those better able to identify customers' expectations and address them via authentic emotional values will see tangible bottom-line results," said Brand Keys president Robert Passikoff.
