MacRumors has today posted pictures of what is said to be the iPad mini’s display. The pictures were originally posted by parts supplier ETrade Supply, which says that they show an LCD screen of nearly 8 inches, measuring 162 mm long and 124 mm wide. ETrade Supply also says that the display is 4:3 aspect ratio, which is the same as the regular-sized iPads. MacRumors says that text on the back of the display indicates that it has been manufactured by LG Display. The ribbon cable also has text on it, which according to MacRumors is consistent with genuine Apple parts labelling. As a result of ETrade Supply posting these pictures, French website Nowhereelse.fr has posted a snap of what is said to be an iPad mini display undergoing quality testing. The French site said that it had actually received the snap last week, but had only been sure it was genuine after seeing ETrade Supply’s photos.
