ipad newbie

Hey everyone, im buying an ipad next week and cant wait, im a plumber and as i am on the road a lot i plan on using it as a diary.
So im looking for an app that allows me to take down a customers/job details quickly and add them to a diary page (date) and at a glance i want to be able to scan through the days and see what jobs i have on that day and any tasks that need completing etc.

Soi i would appreciate any reccomendations, and any reccomendations for any other apps that might suit my needs, thanks in advance

I don't have any recommendations, but most people on here work during the day or are on the other side of the world.

As soon as they get off or wake up, I suspect you'll get some kind of answer.
