iPad owners average age

We have a Member who is over 100 years old. For her (recent) 100th birthday she set up her iPad with the HDMI connector to her plasma TV and showed her birthday guests a selection of photographs taken throughout her 100 years.

Now that's cool.

I was impressed by my 74 year old uncle who uses his iPad to access my Vulkano's premium movie channels 800 miles away and his own webcam but the 100 year old takes the prize.

An active 70-year-old here. My iPad is mostly used for presentations (Keynote), writing (Pages) and as a FANTASTIC "PPP" (photography portfolio platform).

I'm 53 and I gave my itouch to my daughter to use because it was getting hard to see....with my failing eyesight. I think this could be a major reason why older people enjoy the iPad...we enjoy the large display, along with it's long battery life and ease of use. The nice thing about the iPad is it's many diverse apps which can be enjoyed by all ages. I use it my mainly to upload photos that I have taken and for internet access and entertainment apps.

60 and still teaching fifth grade. I'll have 10 iPads in my class this year so I've been learning as much as I can this summer. It's going to be a great year!

28 and 29 here! We are share our iPad for now. We are thinking of getting an iPad2 around christmas.

I resent that. So you have to be 55+ to afford an iPad? I'm 25 and have the iPad 2 64GB 3G, guess mamma was right about an education. It sure does PAY off
