Good news for Pinterest fans that can’t get enough of the social network and love to access it everywhere, thus using their mobile devices in the process. The Pinterest app for iPhone and iPad received some cosmetic surgery, so it was released again this week. The updated application now sports cool new editing options and an improved scrolling experience.

With this version users can now edit pins directly from the mobile app and even change or delete the location of the pin. Worried about receiving nasty comments? You don’t have to anymore, since now you can remove comments directly from the app, so you can monitor your profile from your mobile device at all times.

The official Pinterest blog stated:

"We've made a few tweaks behind the scenes so scrolling is smoother when you're going through pins. We also added some features to make it easier to manage your pins."

Pinterest officially launched its first iOS and Android app back in August of last year and was extremely well received by the public. The concept of being able to pin and share your interests while on the go has surely appealed to the public more than just sitting at home in a room chained to a desktop computer. And this is exactly what the company intended when it released the app last summer.

The official Pinterest website has also received some revamping as the company aims to offer a faster and more engaging user experience.

Where do I find this update?

The AppStore icon on your iPad will look like this if app updates are available. Tap it and you will see a list of all available updates. You can choose to update all or choose which ones to update.
