AppleInsider reports today that some models of the new iPad are selling out fast on Apple’s website. The new iPad, which was launched yesterday by Apple, is available to pre-order in 10 countries from today, prior to its launch on March 16. According to AppleInsider, shipping estimates for the white 4G LTE model from AT&T, both the 16GB and 64GB versions, have now slipped to a shipping date of March 19 in the online store. The 32GB version is still available for delivery on March 16, however. It looks like these are proving to be the most popular models so far, or maybe Apple has simply learnt its lesson and got in plenty of stock to satisfy demand for the Wi-Fi-only models or any of the Verizon models. The white AT&T models also seem to be going faster than the black models. Next Friday’s launch of the new iPad represents Apple’s biggest rollout to date for any version of the iPad. The lucky countries that will be getting the iPad on March 16 are: the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and the US Virgin Islands. By the end of March, the iPad will be available in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
