IPad2 bluetooth keyboard

I've been given a Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad2 for Christmas. It seems to be a "generic" brand - ie no make or manufacturer's name on the keyboard or packaging. The "user guide" comprises a single half page, printed both sides with instructions on how to set up the bluetooth connection ( which works fine). But without any further info, I'm not sure how to get the most out of the keyboard, other than to use it just for word processing.. and I suspect there must be more benefits and attributes to gain. I'd welcome advice - Has anyone else had a similar issue?
