IPad2 WiFi - Can't connect to Apps Store after upgrade to iOS 5

I've tried suggestions on this and other forums, like:

- Hard resetting the Ipad
- Deleting Account info and re-entering these
- Making sure Restrictions is not on for Apps (I have set all restrictions off)
- Making sure I have internet access (I can browse ITunes and other sites with Safari)

After trying all of the above, I was able to go directly to the App Store (Apps icon) but when I try to download Updates or new Apps I get a 'Loading' message that times out eventually with mssg. "Can't connect to Apps Store".

Didn't have any problem with this before upgrade.

Looking for suggestions or any known fixes or workarounds.

Thanks

For others that might be experiencing this problem, I went through the motions of signing-off the App Store, re-entering my credentials and hard resetting my iPad last night again, and after a slow start (I thought I was going to get the timeout again), Updating/Downloading Apps started working fine. So my best suggestion is: just keep trying every so often, be patient and forget about smashing the iPad on the wall, like I was about to do :)

If you are downloading or updating lots of large apps, some will work and then the store will time-out and you will have to start again for the next batch. (at least it seems to work this way for me)

I don't think that was my case as I was only trying to download updates for four small (4) apps. However it went just fine after my second go around the next day. Maybe you just need to wait for the new iOS 5 to "settle down"
