I'm not sure what you mean by your question, could you give us more info.

I believe that the question is whether the iPad2 3G can be setup to behave like a Wi-Fi hotspot - correct?

If so, the answer is likely NO w/ the current 3G data plans - now I do not have 3G and have only limited knowledge of its use so hopefully others will 'chime in' w/ more detailed and specific information - will be curious about the responses - good luck!

Hi Giradman,

Trying to explain - it would be to use the iPad as a router or access point from the 3G network so that other people around to share the 3G signal directly withouth connecting your smartphone on my IPad. Thanks for your collaboration.
