iPad2 working only when plugged in to the 10w charger

Hi folks,

My iPad2 suddenly stopped turning on. Now it just turns on when connected to the 10W charger, and even so it works only for about one minute and then turns off again.

Do you think it may be a problem with its battery and I should replace it?

When I turn it on (using the charger) it says the battery is fully (100%) charged.

First try a reset.

Hold down the power and home button until the Apple Logo appears. (ignore the shutdown slider). Let go. It should reboot.

If that does not fix it, contact Apple. Unless you bought your iPad 2 the fist month it came out you are probably still under your hardware warranty.


Also, though I think this very unlikely, make sure you've got the auto-lock in Settings > General set to something more than 2 minutes and see what happens.
