Ipad3 & Camera Attachment

Please forgive a newbie question, but here goes: I am contemplating buying a camera hub, that has usb ports on it as well. My question is: If I plug into the usb port a "jump drive" of a given capacity, or sd card, will the iPad treat it as available memory. like my Win7 desktop? If so how in what format should the drive be? ntfc, etc.

Not unless you are considering jailbreaking your iPad. The Camera Connection Kit is only for transferring files from cameras to the iPad.

What you have to get straight is the fact that the iPad (iOS actually) has no file management capabilities natively. Any files that you load on to the iPad have to be handled by an app that can use the file. This baffles most users that come from the PC world. Once you get this straight you can obtain the apps you need to load and use the files you need.
