First of all, sorry for posting this on IPad related forum but I think there might be some people here who have had same issues as me.
I'm trying to fix an Iphone 4s volume buttons that have been damaged due a moisture. (Water bottle leaked in a backbag ) The buttons have been damaged in a way that the Iphone shows the volume control icon all the time on the screen. Picture related.

I don't know if I have to only change the volume buttons or the whole cable which connects to the motherboard ( iPhone 4S Headphone Audio Jack Volume Mute Silent Switch Button Flex Cable Black ).
Has anyone of you had similar issues? If yes, how did you fix the problem?
