I have a ipod 4 touch running current ios 6.1.6 on it. I want to do a untethed jailbreak. Is there one or it?

Which iPod do you have, exactly? The iPod Touch 4th generation can only be updated to iOS 6.1.6, while the 5th generation iPod Touch is the only iPod that can run iOS 8.

You are right I am sorry I looked at my daughters iphone 4 not my iPod. So yes it's the ipod 4 6.1.6. I edited my original post.....
