Depends on what you mean by safe. If I had to lay money down on the outcome, I'd bet on it staying the same. However, I like my money, so I wouldn't bet on anything when it comes to an Apple announcement.
Historically, they are more likely to stay the same or offer slightly lower prices. It's rare for Apple to raise prices unless they've radically altered the device; not just a matter of specs but with major new features and hardware. Even then, they tend to stay with the same general range of prices.
