its taking me a long time to download free apps---its used to be quicker!

is there something wrong with my app store ? i downloaded several free apps this morning and up to now they are all in WAITING status. im using wifi and downloading was quicker before-seconds or minutes but now its been like an hour and they have not been downloading...

help!
