AppleInsider writes that Apple has today announced that the long-awaited launch of iTunes 11has been delayed until some time in November. It was originally thought to be arriving at the end of October, but we’re at the end of October now so that’s obviously not happening! Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr said “we wanted to take a little extra time to get it right,†going on to say that when it was eventually released, iTunes 22 would have a “dramatically simpler and cleaner interface, and seamless integration with iCloud.†AppleInsider notes that some have speculated that the recently announced management changes at Apple, with Scott Forstall leaving, could be the reason for the delay. Eddy Cue has just been put in charge of Maps and Siri, but he is also in charge of iTunes, so maybe this could mean that the launch has had to be delayed slightly. I know a lot of you have been waiting for this but unfortunately you’ll have to be patient a little while longer.
