9to5 Mac reports that it has heard from sources in the know that iOS 6 will see big changes made to iTunes, as well as the App Store and the iBookstore. Apparently the changes are primarily designed to improve interactivity when people are visiting iTunes, the App Store or the iBookstore. The newly leaked Facebook integration will also impact Apple’s three digital stores, but most particularly it will impact iTunes. Again, let’s hope that Apple keeps this discreet, as I know a lot of people won’t want their iTunes browsing experience ruined by intrusive Facebook branding. 9to5 Mac notes that these improvements are not expected to include improved discoverability, which comes a surprise considering Apple’s acquisition of Chomp, a company whose specialty is known to be improving app discoverability. 9to5 Mac has heard that the Chomp technology was not ready in time to be used in iOS 6, but it will be used at a later date in all three digital stores.
