iTunes in app problems

Hi guys, I have a first gen iPad with wifi capabilities and I've been playing the Smurfs Village game for a while now.
I tried to buy a 100 dollar Smurfberry add on to the app last night and it was charged to my account but the add on has still not appeared. This has happened to me twice with a 5 dollar add on and a 100 dollar add on as well.
What are the chances of the Apple store support guys refunding me or should I just wait it out to see of it shows up?

For sure they will refund you if you call the toll-free Apple Support line with the transaction reference number. The refund will be paid as a credit to your iTunes account.
