Apple has showed off the Apple Watch at Milan’s Salone Del Mobile Design. Apple’s design chief, Jony Ive, has also unveiled some new custom bands for the Apple Watch Sport.
A number of new color bands have been unveiled for the Apple Watch Sport, including two new red ones, two new blue ones and some other skin tone colored bands. However, at the moment, there are no details as to when Apple will make these new bands available for their smartwatch.
At Milan’s Salone Del Mobile Design Fair in Italy, Jony Ive was also accompanied by marketing head Phil Schiller and designer Marc Newson. At the Design Week event in Milan, Apple is allowing invitees to try-on the Watch and use it with a band they like.
What's interesting is that Italy (where the Milan Design Week events are being held) is not a launch market for the Apple Watch, but is a very important one in the fashion world.
