J. A. Super Moderator Staff member Sep 12, 2014 #2 The iPad 1 doesn't get software later than 5.1.1, so your device is "up do date".

H HUNTER1 iPF Novice Sep 12, 2014 #6 Yeah I have iPad 1 and jailbroke it on 5.1.1 and thats the highest firmware for it. It sucks because most apps require at least ios6, time to upgrade.
