Is it that time already?! Doesn’t a year fly when you’re having fun! It seems no time at all since Apple announced last year’s iTunes Festival, but now here we are all over again, with Apple launching the up-to-date iTunes Festival app, and announcing the first of the more-than 60 acts to be performing at the festival. For those unfamiliar with the amazing event, it takes place for the entire month of September at the iconic Roundhouse venue in London’s Camden/Chalk Farm district. Previous acts to have performed at the festival, which first started in 2007 at the ICA in London, include Sir Paul McCartney, the late Amy Winehouse, Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys, Paul Simon, Jack White and Oasis. The tickets are free, you simply have to enter your email address into the draw to win two tickets, either online or via the app. Already some major names have been announced by Apple today, including Justin Timberlake, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Jack Johnson and Jessie J, with many more to be announced soon. If you’re not lucky enough to win a ticket, or don’t live near enough to go, then you can watch performances either live or on-demand on your iDevices and Apple TV. [/FONT]
