Keyboard comes up too high in most applications even here

Whenever I use the keyboard in Skype, Yahoo Messenger or even in sending emails it comes to high on the screen and often it obscures what I am trying to write
How do I get the keyboard back down to the bottom of the page?

Tap the keyboard key at the bottom right of the keyboard, a pop up will appear. Slide your finger up to dock and lift your finger, the keyboard will move to the bottom of the screen.
