Keyboard help

Hi
I am trying to get some help on a product from Samsung with Live chat support. My iPad 3 keyboard causes the chat window/box so I can not type my words in to it. Can anyone please tell me how to shrink my keyboard so I can type the words in. To window/ box ? Thank you

See if splitting it may help: tap and hold the keyboard key, until this appears:




And choose "Split". It will then look like this:

Meaning: you can't write?
Did you try to tap somewhere inside that box, so that maybe the cursor appears and shows where you're writing?
Sorry if this sounds like a silly question. I'm just trying to figure out what you've already tried.

I do not see the words in the window/Box when typing them. and can not paste hey direct link so the technical support guy can see what I am talking about. I use the app Photo bucket to make the direct Link. Because you can't post images on there server. Thank you

On your screenshot, you have to tap the window at the bottom (between the keyboards) to reply. Then you'll see the cursor, enter your sentences and send them afterwards.

Try undocking and splitting the keyboard (both at once). That will give you a clear view of the box.
