Keyboard sticks in centre screen

Once I get up the keyboard, like this typing now, the keyboard floats to the centre of the screen covering the centre of the page and I am virtually typing blind. I can push the page up and down behind to try and enter text but the screen does then tend to crash. Never had this problem before in nearly two years. Is there a simple answer?

I'm assuming your keyboard looks like this?

To fix the problem, tap the keyboard button at the bottom right of the keyboard and slide your finger to the dock button, then lift it. Your keyboard will move to the bottom of the screen.
