@live setup

I have a @live account but ive tried millions of combinations so set up my email account on my ipad2.
Should i chose "hotmail", "microsoft exchange", "other" or anything else? And depenging on what i chose, whats POP, IMAP, server addresses should i fill in?

My kids have live and I put them on hotmail. It asked for name, password etc. good to go.

When doing that i get this notification: "could not verify account information" (translated frf swedish so it might not be the exact words.. But its strange anyways!

Oh! That's weird. I'm afraid you have to wait for someone else. Won't be long now. Some members are coming home from work whereas I'm going to bed. Sorry. Have you looked at any gmail threads or email threads in general?

iOS: Hotmail, Live, or MSN email accounts

Have you converted the Hotmail account to a POP account? There are plenty of instructions on the web if you haven't.

I did it! I just changed my password into something much shorter (old was 17 characters) and that was the problem!
