Most iPad owners, who don't use the gadget only for entertainment but also work on it, require the use of a keyboard. And there have been many companies offering keyboards from the simple rudimentary ones to the solar powered ones.

But the new iPad accessory Logitech is about to launch is more than a keyboard. The new Logitech Keyboard Folio comes boasting a double edge. Not only will it provide the much needed keyboard but once you are done working, it can turn into the protective layer meant to cover your iPad’s screen.

The Logitech Keyboard Folio can be connected to your tablet via Bluetooth and will provide the comfort and familiarity of big keys. What’s more interesting is that it also comes packing special keys for iPad shortcuts. The Folio is equipped with a closing system which relies on magnets, thus helping you keep the tablet from getting damaged when you’re travelling, for example. The case/keyboard also allows users to arrange the tablet in several comfortable angles.

Mike Culver, vice president of brand development accessories for Logitech, stated:

"To take the design a step farther, we combined Logitech's expertise and experience in keyboards with high-quality materials to bring a sense of sophistication to the functional protection people want and need for their tablets."

The Logitech Keyboard Folio will become available for purchase in the United States and Europe around April and customers will have to spend $99.99 to get their hands on one.

So it's basically a modified version of the Ultrathin Keyboard Case, but with extra casing? Interesting.

My first question is how much does it weigh......
