Long time to sync iTunes with my iPad2 ??

why does it take so long to sync iTunes with my iPad2 ?? Also, there is no status letting me know how much has been completed.

The times varies on syncing your iPad, it depends on the last time you have done it and how many more apps and other data have now been added since the last sync.
