ipad2 and itunes on windows 7

I have an iphone 4 which has been syncing fine with itunes.
Just bought an ipad2 which is not recognised.
Currently downloading latest ver sion of itunes hoping this wil lsolve my problem.

iTunes 10 is the minimum version required to work with the iPad 2, so updating should definitely make it work.
