Loss of sound ipad 2. Os 7

I have had a go at all the methods of trying to get my sound back?,but after coming across a a thread this sort mine out with out any problem,could not believe it? All I did was put alcohol on my finger and wiped it on the charger plug and put it into the socket on the ipad and back it came, with in seconds,reading the thread it clean any dust fooling the charger port which causes the problem? Hope it works for you it did work for me never looked back.
