Lost all Notes IPad Air

New IPad Air- had about 10 notes and I lost them all. What can I do? Is this an Apple program/ App? This is my first experience with Apple- not good! Had much better experience with Microsoft- never lost info. Good thing I did not have a lot of notes. I could have lost years of notes. Can I trust Apple?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Yes, the Notes App is a native app which comes loaded on your iPad. I use this app myself all the time and have never lost a Note but we have had many here who have. If you look at the top left of the note app you will see 'Accounts' press this, you may have inadvertently pressed this and it may be showing you a blank page....see what accounts are there. Hopefully, this is what has happened and you will find your notes, if not, then I'm afraid you have lost them. You can sync your Notes with certain Mail apps....I'm fairly certain gmail is one....but others will be able to give you more info on this.

There are many other apps for notes, Evernote (free), being a highly recommended one.
