When it doesn't get directly involved in philanthropist actions, we usually see Apple executives selling unique objects or chances to chat with them. The most recent such event took place two months ago, when Apple CEO Tim Cook helped charity auction site CharityBuzz raise $330,000 for the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights.

Now, another prominent Apple exec is helping to raise funds for a good cause through the same online platform - Apple, Inc., Senior Vice-President of Internet Software and Services Eddy. Here's the announcement sounds like:

Have lunch with Apple, Inc., Senior Vice-President of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue at the Apple Headquarters in Cupertino, California, and bring home a 13-inch MacBook Air! Eddy Cue is Apple's senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, reporting to CEO Tim Cook. Eddy oversees Apple's industry-leading content stores including the iTunes Store, the revolutionary App Store and the iBookstore, as well as Siri, Maps, iAd and Apple's innovative iCloud services.

Eddy's team has an excellent track record of building and strengthening online services to meet and exceed the high expectations of Apple's customers. He is a 25-year Apple veteran and leads a large organization of amazing people. Eddy played a major role in creating the Apple online store in 1998, the iTunes Store in 2003 and the App Store in 2008.

The money spent on the auction will sent to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Foundation. The lunch comes with an estimated value of $10,000, but at the moment of writing this story, there have been 19 bids with $16,000 being the top amount.

If you have the cash and you want to help a good cause and also to meet with a very influential person in Apple's products and services, then you have time until this Wednesday.
