Microphone not working on my I pad1

Microphone has ceased to work when attempting to use Skype

Does it work with other apps?

Most Members who have had this problem have found that powering the iPad completely down, by pressing and holding the Power button until the slider control appears, accepting the offer to power down then powering up again, can fix this problem.

Thanks for that Tim Working fine now. Makes me feel a bit of a idiot not trying that first

are you kidding?

turn off and on again, thats your advice for a sound fault when most forums are recognising its either time for a new ipad free from apple or its another io5 issue?

have I missed something?
